Back After Baby: Rise and Shine

Ok, so as you can imagine the every day updates got to be a bit difficult to maintain, so I have to shift gears and commit to what I can for a little while as far as writing goes.  If it's a choice between sitting down to write, or using that same time to get a workout in, then I gotta keep the momentum going and get the workout in.  So please forgive me...

Today I was up early for a 5am workout of 40 minutes of "On Demand" core work, and then a short 10 min video of back work with a resistence band.  It was long enough to feel like a workout, but still didn't really satisfy the workout craving.  Being a runner does that to you- it tricks you into feeling as though other 'non running' activities aren't really workouts.  Even long, challenging swims, as demanding as they are, just feel different than running.  I think it's the impact.  Maybe it's really the feeling of cartilidge breaking down actually now that I think about it....
